Tiago Cochofel de Azevedo is Counsel in the Labor and Social Security area.

He develops his activity in Labor Law, with special experience in all areas of labor law, focusing on Labor Tech, multinational companies, international labor relations, employee mobility, and employee incentives. He has broad experience advising clients in Portugal and throughout the European Union, as well as in Angola, Cabo Verde, and Timor-Leste.

He completed his traineeship and was part of the Labor Department of Simmons & Simmons in Portugal between 2004 and 2011. He subsequently joined the Labor Department of Vieira de Almeida & Associados, where he served as an Associate and later as a Coordinating Associate, between 2011 and 2013.

He currently serves as a professor at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, teaching the Labor Law course in the undergraduate program, as well as the curricular unit of Preventive and Sustainable Labor Restructuring in the Postgraduate Program in Business Restructuring. He also regularly participates as a speaker at conferences related to Labor Law and Human Resources.

He is a member of APODIT, Vice-President of the AJJ, and a member of the Social Sciences and Jurisprudence Section of the Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa.

He has been part of Antas da Cunha Ecija since 2023.
