Patricia Liñán

Competition

Patricia has extensive knowledge in the field of EU Law and Competition Law.

With more than 20 years of experience, she has advised companies in competition proceedings and merger control before the CNMC and the European Commission. She has developed her career at firms such as CMS and Bird & Bird, where she led the EU Law and Competition practice areas.

Her most recent work has focused on damages claims and the implementation of compliance programs in competition defense. Her track record has been recognized by international directories such as Chambers & Partners, which highlights her among the leading experts in the sector. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association for the Defense of Competition (AEDC).

She is an associate professor of EU Law at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has taught at institutions such as Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, IE Law School, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid.
