Patricia Liñán

Patricia is a partner in EU and competition law at ECIJA. She has more than 20-years’ experience advising on competition law. Patricia has developed her professional career in firms such as CMS and Bird & Bird, where she led the respective areas of practice in EU and competition law.

Liñán has a long track record of advising companies in competition and concentration control proceedings before the Spanish Competition Authority (CNMC) and the European Commission. Her most recent work has focused on the scope of claims for damage, and on the implementation of programmes on compliance with competition rules. Her vast experience in the field has been recognised by international directories such as Chambers & Partners, which have placed her among the main players in the market. She is currently a member of the Board of the Spanish Competition Association (AEDC)

Patricia Liñán is also an associate professor of EU law at Complutense University of Madrid. She has also worked as a professor at various institutions, such as Madrid Autonomous University, IE Law School, Carlos III University of Madrid and King Juan Carlos III University of Madrid.
