Alejandro is Managing Partner of ECIJA and one of the most influential figures in technology law, intellectual property, and innovation.

With more than twenty years of career, he has been recognized by prestigious international rankings such as Chambers & Partners and Legal500, and was selected by the Financial Times among the ten most innovative lawyers in Europe, as well as by Forbes on the list of the "100 Most Creative People in Business." In December 2022, The Lawyer named him the best Managing Partner in Europe.

A pioneer at the intersection of law and technology, Alejandro has played a key role in the transformation of the legal sector, driving the incorporation of innovative solutions into legal practice. His leadership has consolidated ECIJA as a leading firm in TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications), both in Europe and Latin America.

He is an arbitrator for the World Intellectual Property Organization, president of the ICT Section of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid, and a professor at leading universities and business schools such as IE Law School, Universidad de Navarra, ICADE, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and serves as Director of the Master's in Legal Tech at IE Law School.

As author and coordinator of numerous specialized publications, he has significantly contributed to the development of the legal framework on new technologies, blockchain, smart contracts, and legaltech.
