Daniel is an expert in privacy, digital regulation, and compliance, with extensive experience in technology law and information security.

He is a lawyer with a strong track record in technology law, data protection, and regulatory compliance. With over eighteen years of experience, he has advised both public and private organizations on privacy, digital regulation, and information security, positioning himself as a leading authority in the field.

He is a member of the Expert Group of the European Data Protection Board and has led key initiatives such as the Ibero-American Data Protection Observatory, where he has overseen studies on regulatory frameworks and data processing across the region. His contributions have been recognized by institutions such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency and the Basque Data Protection Agency, which have awarded him prizes in the research category.

In addition to his professional practice, Daniel is actively involved in academia as Academic Director of the Master’s Degree in Data Protection and Security at Nebrija University and as an Adjunct Professor at IE University. He also teaches at several Spanish and Ibero-American universities and is a regular contributor to specialized legal publications.
