Iván is the Partner responsible for the Real Estate area at ECIJA, with more than 30 years of experience in complex, high-value real estate transactions.

Iván Aznivoz is the Partner responsible for the Real Estate area at ECIJA and has more than three decades of experience in real estate law, urban planning, and complex transactions for national and international investors. His practice combines a strategic business vision with a broad capacity to execute acquisition, financing, sale & leaseback, and joint venture transactions, as well as management of real estate portfolios and corporate operations with underlying real estate.

He regularly advises investment funds, SOCIMIs, financial institutions, developers, and family offices on high-value transactions, including comprehensive due diligence, financial structuring, stock market exits, and public offers for acquisition in regulated and multilateral markets, as well as on regulatory matters both domestically and internationally.

Before joining ECIJA, he led for more than a decade the Real Estate area and the real estate law department at EY, and previously headed the real estate, construction, and urban planning practice at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. His track record has been recognized by international directories such as Chambers & Partners (Band 2) and Legal 500, establishing him as a benchmark in the real estate market.
