Cristian Mitrani

Cristian Mitrani is a founding partner and head of the Corporate, M&A, Compliance and Crisis Management, Antitrust, Public Law, Litigation, and Arbitration practices at Mitrani Caballero. With over 40 years of experience, he is recognized for his expertise in international business law, M&A, joint ventures, corporate governance, international arbitration, competition law, and white-collar crime. Cristian has led landmark privatizations, acquisitions, and strategic alliances across multiple jurisdictions, and regularly advises on corporate investigations, white-collar crime prevention, and critical litigation. He has received numerous recognitions, including the Latin Lawyer Lifetime Achievement Award (2025).

Previously, he was a partner leading the international practice at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2000–2007), visiting partner at Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, Milan (2004–2005), senior in-house counsel at Techint Group (1984–2000), and law clerk for the Argentine Supreme Court (1980–1984) and National Administrative Court of Appeals (1978–1980).

He is admitted to practice law in the City of Buenos Aires and is a member of the International Bar Association.
