Julio Caballero leads the firm’s Labour and Social Security Law practice. He is a renowned specialist with a vast domestic and cross-border experience in employment, collective bargaining and social security matters.
In addition, he has a well-recognised experience in advising clients on labour and social security issues in connection with M&As worldwide.
Prior to co-founding Mitrani Caballero, he was a partner and leader of the Labour and Social Security Law practice at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005-2007). He was Labour Law Manager of the Techint Group Legal Department (1987-2005). He also served as an officer at the National Labour Courts (1980-1987).
He is admitted to practice law in the City of Buenos Aires and in the Province of Buenos Aires.
Julio Caballero has written several articles on subjects of his expertise.
Julio Caballero graduated with honours as an attorney from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1980. In 2000, he did a specialisation for Latin-American Experts in Labour Problems and Labour Relationships from the Università di Bologna, ILO's International Training Centre in Turin and Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
