Career

José Ángel joined Pérez-Llorca in 2014 after initiating his professional career at a Spanish law firm. In 2018, José Ángel worked as an international associate at the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett where he took part in M&A and capital markets transactions, both within the US and internationally, with a specific focus on Latin American cases. LL.M. (Columbia University, 2018).

José Ángel specialises in advising national and international clients on all types of corporate and real estate matters and transactions, including the structuring of real estate investments and divestments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, the purchase and transfer of real estate assets, sale & leasebacks, leases, real estate developments, and forward funding, as well as transactions related to the hotel and leisure sector.

José Ángel has also advised national and international investment funds, REITs, insurance companies, developers and financial institutions.
