She advises domestic and international clients including private equity funds, institutional investors and family offices on complex real estate and corporate transactions, with particular focus on real estate M&A and commercial real estate assets. Her experience spans hospitality, retail, logistics and agribusiness sectors. She assists developers in major projects, leads the negotiation of commercial leases and hotel management agreements, and advises on joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, insolvency proceedings and financing structures in the real estate market.
Career
Teresa is a partner in the Real Estate practice and she has over 12 years’ professional experience in the area of commercial law, in particular, commercial real estate and finance.
Teresa focuses on structuring, negotiating and carrying out M&A and private equity transactions. She advises on the set up and operation of investment and venture capitals funds, acquisitions of loan portfolios, and financing operations and corporate restructuring in various sectors of the real estate and tourism industries.
She also has experience in developing and operating large-scale agricultural projects.
Teresa has an LL.M. from the University of Virginia, USA.
Before joining Pérez-Llorca, she was a lawyer at the law firm PLMJ.
