María Elena is a partner and specializes in civil, commercial, and corporate dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on corporate litigation and both domestic and international commercial arbitration.

María Elena has advised domestic and international companies in complex disputes involving the interpretation and enforcement of contracts, interim measures, civil liability, and shareholder conflicts. Her experience includes proceedings before local and federal courts, as well as administrative and constitutional litigation.

In arbitration, she has participated in both domestic and international proceedings under institutional rules such as those of the ICC, ICDR, and the Mexican Arbitration Center, coordinating strategies in collaboration with teams across different jurisdictions.

She has also taken part in amparo proceedings brought against actions by administrative and regulatory authorities, as well as in the implementation of procedural strategies that combine litigation with alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
