Lina Uribe García

Lina Uribe García is Partner and Head of the Corporate and M&A practice at Pérez-Llorca. With more than 25 years of experience, she focuses on private equity, joint ventures, and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Her practice also encompasses corporate reorganisations including mergers, spin-offs, and transformations, as well as corporate governance and advisory to local and international clients across multiple sectors. In addition, she is part of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources group, where she advises on the environmental law aspects of transactions, regulatory compliance, and litigation.

Lina joined Gómez-Pinzón in 1997 and was named partner in 2011. Since 2025, she is partner as Perez-Llorca. She has consolidated her legal career at the intersection of corporate and transactional work, earning recognition from leading legal directories. She is ranked by Chambers Latin America 2025 in Corporate/M&A, and in Energy & Natural Resources for Oil & Gas and Environmental Law. She is also recognised by The Legal 500 as a Leading Partner in Corporate and M&A, and by Leaders League and IFLR1000 as Highly Regarded.

Lina is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA). She holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá; an LL.M. in Energy and Environment (with distinction) from Tulane University, New Orleans; and a Specialisation in Environmental Law and a Diploma in Corporate Law from Universidad del Rosario, Colombia.
