Career

Mariela Huerta Avila's core practice is in the area of global disputes. Mariela's practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation. She has represented local and international clients in disputes related to corporate and shareholder litigation and enforcement of contracts subject to Mexican law, including noncompliance and interpretation of clauses and injunctive relief, either before courts or in negotiations. She also has experience in commercial arbitration, representing clients in international arbitration proceedings in joint efforts of Firm offices, as well as in local arbitration proceedings before Mexican dispute resolution centers.
