Laura Ruiz

Laura advises domestic and international clients on complex litigation, arbitration, and insolvency matters. Her insolvency practice includes representing debtors, shareholders, directors and creditors in all phases of proceedings, including rescissory actions, contract terminations, corporate disputes and director liability claims. She also assists on asset and business sales in insolvency contexts, including judicially approved and liquidation-phase transactions.

Her litigation and arbitration experience spans a range of civil and commercial disputes, particularly in the energy, construction, financial services, and real estate sectors. She has acted in both institutional and ad hoc proceedings, including arbitrations before the ICC, CAM and CEA.

Laura is a partner (since 2021) in Pérez-Llorca’s Dispute Resolution and Insolvency practice. She joined the firm in 2007 and undertook a secondment in 2013 at the Stockholm headquarters of Mannheimer Swartling.
