Félix is a counsel and has extensive experience in foreign trade and customs, regulatory consulting and strategic legal protection. He has technical knowledge in constitutional and administrative litigation against tax and administrative authorities, providing comprehensive advice in all practice areas.
He has represented and advised various companies in the energy, footwear, textile, pharmaceutical, automotive and chemical sectors in multiple regulatory and customs matters in order to mitigate responsibilities derived from possible faults or illegal acts committed during the regular operation of these companies. Félix’s recent work includes the representation of a major healthcare company in a liability of $1.5 billion Mexican pesos arising from anomalies during the merchandise import process and compliance with health regulations.
Before joining, Félix worked as a foreign associate at Nishimura & Asahi in Tokyo, where he prepared different scenarios and strategies for Japanese companies seeking to invest in Mexico and Latin America. Félix also worked in the Tax Administration Service of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit as an official in charge of Special Operations carried out by Mexican customs.
