Counsels and represents employers in all areas of employment law. Guides clients in the preparation and application of employment policies and procedures. Provides advice in complex and high level company investigations when there are concerns of employee misconduct or in other areas related to the employment relationship. Experience also includes helping employers with difficult employee terminations.
Practice includes more than 30 years of experience defending employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state agencies against allegations of race, sex, national origin, religion, age and disability discrimination. Success in defeating claims at the summary judgment stage in state and federal court. Also experienced in resolving claims in mediation or through other informal settlement negotiations.
