Richard has a wide range of experience in trial work and arbitration in numerous jurisdictions, with an emphasis on construction litigation, products liability litigation, real estate litigation, intellectual property litigation and general commercial litigation. Richard has tried and arbitrated cases involving construction defects, general contractual disputes, patent infringement, manufacturing issues, trade secret misappropriation, trademark and copyright infringement, products liability, real estate disputes, business disputes, personal injury, and premises liability, and has represented clients in the manufacturing, chemical, health care, construction, public works, government, technology and energy sectors.
Richard also has extensive experience drafting and advising clients on construction and master service agreements prior to disputes arising. Has authored articles and presented on numerous construction litigation issues, including force majeure, indemnity, construction defects, delays and damages.
