William L Warren

Bill Warren is Chair of Eversheds Sutherland’s U.S. Life Sciences team and advises clients on strategic intellectual property issues related to biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. With advanced degrees in Molecular Biology (MSc) and business (MBA), Bill prosecutes patents and trademarks, counsels clients on validity and infringement issues, and prepares product clearance opinions and development strategies. Bill also negotiates technology transfer licensing agreements and conducts intellectual property due diligence for other corporate transactions. He has worked with clients ranging from multinational corporations to early-stage entrepreneurial companies, nonprofit university and science research centers. Bill is also a frequent speaker and writer on developments in patent law affecting the life sciences industry.
