Lisa works with portfolio lenders, commercial banks, CMBS master and special servicers, pension fund advisers, private equity funds, government sponsored entities and owners to find strategic and cost-efficient solutions to finance, administer and manage their commercial real estate investments and portfolios. She represents structured finance participants in public and private securitizations, and handles large loan originations, assumptions and restructurings, as well as investment sales, acquisitions, new developments and joint ventures. Lisa also works with inbound foreign investors on their US commercial real estate investments, including acquisition, entity structuring, financing and redevelopment of leading resort and hotel properties. During 2018, Lisa represented an industry-leading master and special servicer on a range of commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS), single asset single borrower, agency and collateralized loan obligation securitizations having an aggregate deal value of $25 billion. She also counsels developer/owner clients in complex acquisition, development and debt and equity transactions involving office, multifamily and hospitality assets and portfolios across the country. Lisa also handled resolution of the largest defaulted CMBS loan during the financial downturn, completing a $1.2 billion mortgage loan restructure on behalf of a special servicer with payment in full to holders of securitized and rake bond debt.
