Bill is an M&A lawyer and the Co-Head of our US Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Bill advises his clients in navigating their most complex, high-stakes transactions in all market environments. He is a trusted and business-focused legal advisor to publicly-traded and privately-held companies, private equity sponsors, management teams, entrepreneurs and investment bankers. Bill represents and counsels clients on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, divestitures, private equity and venture capital investments, roll-ups, recapitalizations, restructurings, minority investments, strategic partnerships and joint ventures.

He is also experienced in advising boards of directors, audit committees and special committees on a wide variety of strategic matters, including actionable advice on complex and novel corporate governance, disclosure and fiduciary duty issues.

Bill counsels clients on corporate issues arising in all phases of the corporate life cycle — from initial formation, including raising early-stage capital, debt financing and going public, to fulfilling public company reporting and operational requirements. He also provides advice and counsel on day-to-day operational matters, strategic corporate initiatives, corporate governance and compliance matters.
