Adam develops practical solutions to the complex issues of employee compensation, benefits, retirement and pensions. He has more than 25 years of experience representing public companies, closely held businesses and tax-exempt organizations. Adam provided advice on employee benefits and equity compensation for the largest corporate spin-off in business history at the time and has advised on international and billion-dollar mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. His extensive experience includes the design and implementation of tax-qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and 409A compliance, executive compensation arrangements, executive employment and separation agreements, fringe benefits and compensation clawbacks. Additionally, Adam is an adjunct professor in the Georgetown Law School Tax LLM program, where he teaches “Employee Benefits: Qualified Retirement Plans.”
