Danielle (“Dahni”) Barav-Johnson represents clients across the capital structure in complex in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters and bankruptcy proceedings, including creditors’ committees, lenders, agents, corporate debtors, purchasers, post-confirmation trustees and plan fiduciaries. Her experience includes debtor and creditor representations in bankruptcy cases involving billions of dollars of assets and liabilities.

Dahni guides her clients through a broad range of insolvency and bankruptcy issues, including bankruptcy litigation and appeals, distressed M&A and section 363 sale transactions, out of court restructuring, DIP financing, fraudulent conveyance and preference actions, automatic stay and safe harbor issues, liquidation of estate assets, plan implementation, critical vendor treatment, creditor rights issues, and chapter 11 debtor representation. She also frequently presents and consults on bankruptcy risk mitigation and other topics of critical interest to clients. Her work spans various industries, including the healthcare, pharmaceutical, energy, mining, commodities, manufacturing, aviation, asbestos and entertainment sectors.

Dahni is known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach. Coming to law practice from an early career in international conflict resolution and community mediation, she enjoys guiding clients through high-stakes, multi-party negotiations with a focus on efficient and collaborative outcomes.
