Stephen Taylor

Steve Taylor focuses his practice on insurance and bank regulatory matters and corporate transactions as well as general corporate representations.

His practice includes:

- Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions involving insurance holding companies, insurance companies, bank holding companies, national banks, state member and non-member banks, federal savings institutions, reinsurers, HMOs and insurance agencies.

- Counseling financial institution clients on a broad range of federal and state regulatory matters.

- Representing clients on negotiation of manuscripted insurance policies, insurance coverage issues and policy disputes.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims in 2001, Steve served as Associate General Counsel of First American Corporation, a multistate bank and insurance holding company.
