For more than 40 years, Craig Gabbert has guided financially distressed businesses through bankruptcy proceedings, restructurings, workouts, and other complex financial matters. He represents both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring matters and has handled many of the most visible workouts and bankruptcies in Tennessee. Craig regularly advises clients on negotiations with creditors, capital restructuring, and settlement strategies.
In addition to his bankruptcy and restructuring practice, Craig represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes, including matters involving breach of contract, restrictive covenants, securities offerings, and other business disputes. He also serves as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 General Civil Mediator.
Joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Craig was a founding member and shareholder at Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner, P.C.
