Brian has negotiated and drafted construction and design contracts for real estate projects throughout the U.S. with a total value of more than $2B. Working with start-ups to multi-national corporations, Brian handles design and construction contracts for all types of projects. Brian advises on all aspects of the design and construction dispute resolution process, including issues related to licensing, liens, payment disputes, defect and delay claims, mediation, arbitration and litigation. His work on both the transactional and dispute resolution sides give Brian a unique industry perspective and allow him to protect his clients’ interests throughout a project’s life cycle. In 2009, Brian earned the Green Building Certification Institute’s LEED® Green Associate designation. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) designation recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the knowledge and skill needed to understand and support green design, construction, and operations.
