He advises companies facing financial distress on strategic solutions, including bankruptcy proceedings, debt restructurings, workouts, and related commercial matters.
Gene represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, committees, and asset purchasers in bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings across a wide range of industries, including automotive, aviation, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, petroleum, real estate, retail, and nonprofit organizations. His practice also includes commercial litigation involving breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary disputes, Uniform Commercial Code matters, and enforcement of security interests.
In addition, Gene has experience representing clients in environmental and mass tort litigation, including matters involving the petroleum manufacturing and distribution industry.
