Rocco E Testani

Rocco is a partner in the litigation practice group and also serves as the firm’s General Counsel. He most recently served as the co-head of Global Litigation and is former member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Over the past 30+ years, Rocco has tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts and in arbitral forums. He has a broad range of experience, including successfully litigating and trying “bet the company” business disputes and representing governors, state legislatures and other officials in high-profile public policy and constitutional law cases. He collaborates with in-house lawyers, political leaders and their counsel, and other high-level business executives, becoming part of their team to understand their objectives. Rocco has also served as outside general counsel to two large public school districts and as a special assistant attorney general. In recognition of his contributions to education law and policy, Rocco was recently appointed to the board of the Harvard Program on Education Policy and Governance.
