Robert J Pile

Bob Pile focuses on business transactions and strategic relationships with an emphasis on acquisition and disposition transactions, joint ventures, restructurings and strategic agreements.

He has experience in a variety of industries, with particular experience in technology-driven businesses, financial and other professional services, payments and fintech, and manufacturing. Bob also works with clients on organizational structuring and governance matters.

Bob has served in a wide variety of leadership positions in his career. He currently serves and the firm’s co-lead for the Financial Services M&A practice, and as a trustee for the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He previously served as Chairman of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, President of the Southeastern Chapter of the Society for Corporate Governance, as a member of the Executive Committee of Eversheds Sutherland US and the Global Board of Eversheds Sutherland International, and as the practice group leader for the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Bob is admitted to practice in the states of Georgia and Florida.
