Career
Rob Collins’ practice focuses on public finance, in particular tax-exempt financings. He serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and disclosure counsel in financing transactions for cities, counties, school districts, economic development corporations, venue projects, water districts and special districts. Rob also advises clients in connection with economic development incentives for public/private projects.
He has successfully represented several cities and special districts in expedited declaratory judgment actions filed in response to or in anticipation of certain legal challenges asserted against the clients’ proposed issuance of bonds and/or projects to be financed with bond proceeds.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Rob serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
