Head of Artificial Intelligence in the US, Rachel Reid has more than 20 years of experience advising financial services and technology companies on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.

This includes data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, risk management, operations, corporate governance, complex commercial transactions, technology transactions and outsourcing. Rachel has helped lead high-growth companies through complex regulatory environments and acquisitions, while providing guidance to senior leaders in large, global public companies, including members of the C-Suite and the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Rachel was SVP, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Privacy Officer at a leading health, wealth and investment company. In this role, she led the global privacy and data security legal and compliance functions and was responsible for all corporate governance matters. She also provided legal and strategic advice across the enterprise in the areas of privacy, data security, data governance, information technology, outsourcing, vendor management, procurement, intellectual property, marketing, e-commerce, and social media. Prior to this role, Rachel was a chief counsel at a diversified healthcare services leader. Rachel began her legal career as an Associate at Eversheds Sutherland in Atlanta.
