Partner and member of Eversheds Sutherland’s US Executive Committee, Griff manages patent portfolios for large, multinational corporations and leading research institutions. His clients include Fortune 100 companies, technology sector leaders and universities. Leveraging his background in electrical engineering and telecommunications, he helps clients identify and protect inventions related to computer systems and software, artificial intelligence/machine learning, autonomous driving systems, wireless communications devices and protocols, big data/cloud computing, consumer electronic devices, semiconductor processing and packaging, battery design and management, and display technology. In addition, Griff writes opinions, handles post-grant reviews and inter partes review, performs clearance studies, develops and negotiates licensing agreements, performs intellectual property due diligence, and conducts intellectual property audits.
