Kym is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Co-Head of the firm’s Complex Litigation team. Kym focuses her practice on defending financial services companies across a broad spectrum of litigation matters.
She regularly represents companies in complex class actions, including cases involving unfair trade practices, consumer fraud, tort claims, and complex breach of contract disputes. Over the past five years, Kym has successfully defeated or favorably resolved more than 50 class actions. She has argued before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals, including the Second, Third, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits, and has secured favorable outcomes on briefing in the First, Third, and Ninth Circuits without oral argument. In addition, she has argued before the Arizona Supreme Court, the Arizona Court of Appeals, and the First and Second Departments of the New York Appellate Division.
