Kristina Kopf Thomas

Partner & Practice Co-Head of Global Real Estate and Planning, Kristina is a commercial real estate and fund formation attorney working with real estate industry clients on a broad spectrum of transactions. Kristina has a strong background in the structuring and formation of private equity real estate investment funds and joint ventures for the acquisition, operation and development of real estate assets. She also has extensive experience advising real estate clients in acquiring, financing, developing and selling all types of real estate assets.

Over the years, Kristina has represented real estate industry clients, including national and regional developers of retail, office and multifamily projects, publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REITs), institutional investors and investment management institutions in a wide range of real estate industry-focused transactions, including the formation of closed end and open end private equity real estate investment funds.

Most recently, she has been the lead attorney in high profile transactions including platform joint ventures, fund formations and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.

Kristina also is a member of the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity advisory council and serves as pro bono counsel for several non-profit institutions in real estate-related matters.
