He focuses his practice on giving advice on and structuring all types of financing transactions for local and international entities, as well as for borrowers, including corporate financing, project finance, acquisition finance, public and private offerings of marketable securities, takeover bids and public exchange offers, securitizations, among others.

A partner at Miranda & Amado since 2011, he joined the Firm as an associate in 2001.

José Miguel earned his law degree from Universidad de Lima and holds a Master’s Degree in Law and a Certificate in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
