Jeffrey Gendzwill

Jeff’s practice focuses on global patent protection and strategies for his clients, with an emphasis on counseling, portfolio management, U.S. and international patent prosecution, and post-grant proceedings. He advises clients across a broad spectrum of technologies, with particular depth in the chemical and life sciences sectors — including chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, clean energy, and advanced materials — as well as mechanical and biomechanical engineering, nanotechnology, medical devices, and physics-based innovations.

Jeff is highly experienced in developing aggressive worldwide patenting strategies, adroitly navigating competitors’ IP space, and preparing complex patentability, freedom-to-operate, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions. He also represents clients in high-stakes proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), handling both offensive and defensive challenges.
