Scott Bettridge

Scott currently serves as the chair of Cozen O'Connor's Immigration Practice, which forms a piece of the firm's Labor & Employment group. He represents both corporate and individual clients in all areas of U.S. immigration law. Scott manages customized immigration compliance programs for employers across a wide range of industries including major global organizations in the financial, hospitality, fashion, media, IT, energy, agriculture, insurance, and health care sectors, along with organizations specializing in professional services and private club industries. Specifically, his practice includes all aspects of corporate immigration services, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, labor certification, and citizenship, along with I-9 review and compliance services, with a focus on global workforce mobility issues such as due diligence considerations and risk management assessments for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, downsizings, and startups. He also consults with entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals regarding investment-based immigration options including the EB-5 program, as well as with individuals on family-based immigration options. Scott is a frequent speaker on business-related immigration developments and trends at industry events, including those held by the American Immigration Lawyers Association and European American Chamber of Commerce, among other prominent organizations.
