Practice Areas
Scott currently serves as the chair of Cozen O'Connor's Immigration Practice, which forms a piece of the firm's Labor & Employment group. He represents both corporate and individual clients in all areas of U.S. immigration law. Scott's corporate clients include major global organizations in the financial, hospitality, fashion, media, IT, energy, agriculture, insurance, and health care sectors, along with organizations specializing in professional athletes, and services and private club industries. Specifically, his practice includes all aspects of corporate immigration services including, nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, labor certification, and naturalization, along with Form I-9 review and audits and Labor Condition Application compliance services, with a focus on global workforce mobility issues such as due diligence considerations and risk management assessments for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, downsizings, and startups. He also consults with individuals on family-based petitions as well as EB-5 immigrant investor petitions, including Form I-526 and I-829 issues and support. Scott is a frequent speaker on business-related immigration developments and trends at industry events, including those held by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and European-American Chamber of Commerce (EACC), among other prominent organizations.

Scott received his law degree from John Marshall Law School and his bachelor’s from the University of Tennessee.
