Patent litigation experience spans a broad range of technologies, including computer hardware and software, consumer electronics, data transmission and encryption, telematics, mechanical devices, chemical and pharmaceutical compounds, among others.
Practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property and technology litigation and counseling, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights. Litigates patent and other intellectual property disputes in courts throughout the United States, including in key patent jurisdictions, before the ITC, and at the Federal Circuit, with particular emphasis on assisting foreign technology companies navigate US patent issues. Handles contested proceedings before the PTAB. Represents and advises clients in connection with non-litigated IP issues, including opinion work; licensing and IP strategy; patent portfolio and prosecution; technology agreements; patent royalty audits; standard essential patents, and related diligence issues.
