Deborah M. Minkoff partners with insurance clients in high-profile liability coverage disputes. Her areas of expertise include healthcare professional liability coverage, managed care errors and omissions coverage, miscellaneous professional liability coverage, life sciences errors and omissions coverage, and reinsurance. Representative matters include resolution of coverage claims for opioid-related liability and liability for alleged failure to prevent sexual misconduct. Through litigation or alternative dispute resolution, Deborah has significantly reduced or eliminated exposure for insurers and reinsurers for more than three decades. Deborah has authored an Appleman’s chapter on deductibles and self-insured retentions and speaks nationally on emerging coverage issues.
