Co-chair of the Firm’s power practice. Advises on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and complex joint venture transactions in the energy power sector, including development stage and operating assets, standalone projects and large asset portfolios. . Represents clients on some of the largest onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage transactions in the world, as well as on transactions involving carbon capture and sequestration, alternative fuels and conventional generation. Representative clients include independent power producers, developers, utilities and private equity funds.
Extensive experience in all aspects of energy and infrastructure project development, with aparticular expertise in the negotiation and drafting of build transfer agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, shared facilities agreements, construction management agreements, asset management agreements, and equipment procurement agreements, as well as numerous other project development agreements.
Speaks and writes extensively on issues of import in the energy sector, including onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage development and financing solutions for renewable energy projects.
