His professional practice focuses on legal advice in the following areas: individual and collective labor law, individual and collective negotiations, prevention and management of labor conflicts, labor inspections, administrative labor procedures, labor litigation, labor arbitration, training, occupational safety and health, social security, and immigration.

Partner since 2021; he joined the firm as an Associate in 2008 and was appointed Counsel in 2019. Previously, he worked at Estudio Hernández & Cía. Abogados (2006-2008) and Estudio Hernández & Rosselló Abogados (2003-2006).

Carlos is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and holds a Master's degree in Mediation, Negotiation, and Conflict Resolution from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is a member of the Register of Arbitrators of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion.

He teaches courses in Labor Law, Prevention and Management of Labor Conflicts, and Labor Litigation at Universidad ESAN, and Labor Legislation at Centrum X. He has also taught courses at Universidad del Pacífico, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad Privada del Norte, Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, Universidad de Lima, Universidad de Piura, and Universidad Tecnológica del Perú. He is a speaker at events in various universities, chambers of commerce, societies, ministries, and other institutions.

He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English.
