Bruce Ficken chairs Cozen O’Connor’s Construction Law Group and is a recognized authority in representing clients in construction and commercial litigation, as well as managing risk in construction projects. Bruce has first-chaired more than 60 major U.S.-based trials and international arbitrations. He has helped resolve some of the nation’s largest and most complex construction-related disputes of the last three decades, from redevelopment of the World Trade Center site to pipeline construction in the Marcellus Shale. Named Best Lawyer’s 2017 Philadelphia Construction “Lawyer of the Year,” Bruce also has the notable distinction of being one of the few construction litigators ever named a fellow of the prestigious invitation-only American College of Trial Lawyers. In 2019, Bruce was named an “Influencer of Law” winner by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com.
