Britt Latham serves as chair of the firm’s Securities & Shareholder Litigation Practice Group and represents public companies, directors, and senior management in complex securities class actions, merger disputes, shareholder litigation, and other business disputes in federal and state courts. He has represented clients in more than 50 class actions involving billions in potential exposure and regularly advises on corporate governance, risk management, and internal investigations. Britt also represents companies in civil and administrative investigations involving the Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal agencies. In addition, he advises hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare entities in litigation, internal investigations, and government inquiries.
Joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2003 and previously served as chair of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, he practiced for 10 years with Jones Day in Dallas, Texas.
