Ben advises on all aspects of employment law and has particular sector specialism in the care sector, where he acts for a number of care homes and domiciliary care providers.
Ben regularly advises clients in bringing and defending employment tribunal claims. He is a pragmatic, commercial lawyer and applies these attributes when conducting litigation so that he achieves the best results for his clients. Ben provides advice and support to HR managers and directors in relation to handling day-to-day workplace issues, including dealing with difficult grievances, complex disciplinary cases, performance management issues, business re-organisation and redundancy situations.
Ben acts for employers of all sizes from start-up companies to PLCs and UK subsidiaries of global corporations. He also acts for senior managers and executives on exit arrangements including settlement agreements and post-termination restrictions.
Ben trained with Thomson Snell & Passmore and qualified in 2009.
Studied Law at the University of Kent and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP, London
