Partner specialising in claimant clinical negligence and personal injury. Has acted in many high value and unusual cases including winning record damages for blindness arising from clinical negligence and a case of wrongful birth where a GP failed to refer the patient for genetic counselling. He has a particular interest in the law of medical consent. He recently won a case at a High Court trial involving a patient death following delay in treating meningitis. Has regularly acted for brain injured children in maximum severity clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
Career
LLB (first class), LLM in health law (prizes for best dissertation and best postgraduate student). Qualified 1993. Joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 2002.

Member of the Law Society clinical negligence and personal injury panels, a fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and an assessor for APIL accredited clinical negligence specialists and a member of the Medico-Legal Society.
