James' most recent settlements include a case involving negligent spinal surgery leaving the patient paraplegic, settling for over £4million, a case involving a brain injury caused by a delay in the diagnosis of sepsis, settling for over £2million, and a spinal injury case for a nurse following negligent microsurgery left her doubly incontinent.
