Rico Dexiades

Rico specialises in claims involving commercial contract disputes, company disputes, insolvency disputes, high value debt recovery / enforcement, professional negligence claims and brand and reputation protection / defamation and harassment disputes.

Rico also advises clients on urgent injunction applications, such as freezing injunctions, anti-harassment, defamation and privacy injunctions. Rico has expertise in various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including experience in international arbitration proceedings, ad-hoc arbitration proceedings and mediation.

Rico has a strong track record in successfully resolving a wide range of international and domestic litigation disputes, and regularly handles proceedings in the Chancery and King's Bench Divisions (including the Commercial Court) of the High Court, which are often complex, high value and include a multi-jurisdictional element.

Rico works with a wide range of domestic and international clients, including large companies, charities, education establishments, high-profile media personalities and local individuals and businesses.

Rico graduated with a degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course at London Metropolitan University in 2012. Rico trained at a niche litigation firm and joined Thomson Snell & Passmore’s Dispute Resolution department in 2018.

Rico was promoted to Partner in 2024.

Rico writes regularly for market publications, local, national and international press.

Rico is fluent in written and spoken Greek.
