Aselle Kurmanova

Aselle focuses her practice on domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, with a strong emphasis on the health care and life sciences sector. She advises on acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, and complex reorganizations, representing private equity sponsors, public and private companies, founders, and institutional investors across the deal lifecycle. A significant portion of Aselle’s practice is devoted to health care driven transactions. She regularly counsels health care providers, physician groups, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, medical device manufacturers, and emerging life sciences ventures on transactional structuring, diligence, and risk allocation in regulated environments.

In addition, Aselle advises boards of directors and executive teams on corporate governance, fiduciary duties, ESG matters, and general corporate strategy. She provides practical guidance on governance policies, disclosure considerations, and compliance issues that arise in connection with transformative transactions and ongoing operations.

Aselle also advises on FDA regulatory and health care compliance considerations as they intersect with corporate transactions, including diligence and structuring issues affecting life sciences and health care companies.
