Amy counsels and defends clients in complex, high-stakes business litigation and government investigations, with an emphasis on accounting and financial matters. She has extensive state and federal trial and appellate experience, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations, and has particular experience leading matters involving multiple parallel lawsuits and regulatory investigations by the SEC and the DOJ, as well as state prosecutors and licensing boards, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has represented corporate and individual clients across the country in a wide range of high-stakes matters, including business and shareholder disputes; accountant, auditor and actuarial liability cases; insurance litigation; securities fraud actions; tax litigation; actions under the False Claims Act; state and federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act cases; trade secret litigation; and receiver, liquidator and trustee actions. Amy is Deputy Practice Group Leader of Eversheds Sutherland’s US Litigation Group and co-leads the US and global Professional Liability practices.
