Work Highlights
Human Horizons is a group company integrating the R&D, production, and sales of new energy vehicles. Its premium intelligent electric vehicle brand, HiPhi, enjoys high market recognition. Since 2023, due to factors such as the economic downturn, intensified competition in the NEV sector, and difficulties in fundraising, Human Horizons gradually fell into an operational crisis, and was forced to suspend production and operations on February 18, 2024.
Since the court accepted the pre-restructuring case of Human Horizons (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd. on August 8, 2024, Mr. Liu Zhengdong, as the head of the administrator, has led his team to strive to sustain the company's operations, preserve its restructuring value, and ensure basic after-sales services for HiPhi vehicles by pooling funds, revitalizing assets, and introducing common benefit debt investments. Meanwhile, facing nearly 4,000 employees (and employee creditors) and over 2,500 individual and institutional creditors, Mr. Liu has taken charge of organizing and advancing key tasks such as the filing and verification of creditor claims, property inventory and maintenance, financial auditing and asset appraisal, investor recruitment, and due diligence and negotiations with prospective investors. He has worked diligently to maintain social stability and spare no effort to help Human Horizons achieve a breakthrough and rebirth. Ultimately, the draft reorganization plan was approved by an overwhelming majority of all classes of creditors and the shareholders group. After the expiration of the 15-day objection period, the Yancheng Economic and Technological Development District People's Court legally ruled on April 2, 2026, to approve the reorganization plan of Human Horizons and terminate the reorganization proceedings. Human Horizons has finally ushered in the dawn of a successful reorganization and a new lease on life.
