Ms. Gong joined JunHe Beijing Office in May 2010. After joining JunHe, Ms. Gong worked at Slaughter and May London Office as a secondee for six months in 2013.
Ms. Gong has been active in antitrust practice filed for over 15 years, with comprehensive legal service experience in areas of merger filings, antitrust investigations, and antitrust compliance/consulting.
In the merger filing field, Ms. Gong provides clients with full services of filing analysis, simplified/normal case filings, handling investigations for failure to file, monitoring trustee of conditionally approved cases, and multijurisdictional filing assessment, in various industries including semiconductor, ports, IT, agriculture, steel, industrial gases, hotels, medical devices, automotive, retail, etc.. Her representative filings include Broadcom's acquisition of VMware, Viterra’s acquisition of Gavilon’s grains and ingredients business, Marriott’s acquisition of Starwood, Dell’s acquisition of EMC, Abbott’s acquisition of St. Jude Medical, Thermo Fisher’s acquisition of Life Technologies, among many other notable transactions.
Ms. Gong is also experienced in defending antitrust investigations on alleged anti-competitive practices in China, as well as providing general antitrust advice, self-audit, and compliance trainings, serving both multinational and domestic companies.
Ms. Gong also provides consulting and filing services related to national security reviews for clients in industries including petrochemicals, software, and information technology, etc..
Ms. Gong has been short-listed as outstanding antitrust lawyers for multiple consecutive years by the Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Who's Who Legal's and Asialaw Profiles' Asia Pacific.
Ms. Gong will serve as the Vice Chair of the IPBA Competition Committee during 2023-2025.
