Mr. Chunyang Shao is a partner of JunHe LLP and currently practices at Shanghai office as the managing partner.

Mr. Shao specializes in corporate, foreign investment, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, securities, infrastructure & project finance.

Mr. Shao represented domestic and foreign clients in the areas of direct foreign investment, international trade, and corporate financing, and participated in a few major international arbitration cases.

During the work in international law firms from 1995 to 2001, Mr. Shao was involved extensively in foreign direct investment, securities (including B-share, H-share, and red chip listing on the stock exchange in China, Hong Kong, London and the U.S.), venture capital, project finance and real estate matters and representing a number of well-known multinational companies.

Since joining JunHe LLP, he has represented various multinational corporations and investment funds on their investments and mergers and acquisitions in China.

Assist a fund under Chery Group in establishing a new fund and acquiring control of an A-share listed company

Assist in the listing of I-MAB Biopharma on NASDAQ

Assist Wuxi Xichan Microchip Semiconductor Co., Ltd.(SPARC) in its incorporation and the acquisition of LFoundry (Europe)

Assist CIMB Bank Berhad in the issuance of Panda Bonds in the Chinese interbank bond market

Assist New Founder Group in selling control of A-Share listed company

Practiced at Anhui Foreign Economy Law Office from 1988 to 1993 as a lawyer.

Worked in the London, Hong Kong and China offices of major international law firms of Simmons & Simmons (as Chinese legal counsel) and Sidley Austin (as a senior legal consultant) from 1995 to 2001.

Joined JunHe in 2002 as a partner.
